Randy Cusick is a stand-up comedian based in Los Angeles, California. Raised in Venice, CA, by his “wanna-be biker dad,” Randy’s journey to the comedy stage is both colorful and inspiring. He survived a 20-year addiction and now celebrates over 18 years of sobriety. His experiences, including overcoming homelessness and addiction, heavily influence his comedic material, allowing him to transform personal tragedies into relatable humor.
Randy’s comedy career began somewhat unexpectedly. While scrolling through Facebook, he noticed a friend’s post about teaching comedy classes. Recognizing his natural ability to make people laugh, he decided to give it a try. Despite initial stage fright, he discovered his passion for stand-up comedy once he stepped onto the stage.
Since then, Randy has performed at various venues across Los Angeles, including the Ice House, The Hollywood Roosevelt, Party On Sober Shows at the Crow, Tao Comedy Studio, and regularly at The Comedy Chateau. He appeared at Sobercon. He often collaborates with other comedians, participating in shows like “Guy’s Nite,” which features a lineup of talented performers.
